The SIP 5L ISO 46 Semi Synthetic Rotary Screw Compressor Oil is a semi synthetic lubricant oil made from an economical blend of mineral and synthetic oils, including high Viscosity Index heat-stable virgin base oils to maintain viscosity under thermal load.
The high-strength slippery film provides reliable lubrication of moving parts, helping to reduce friction and prevent metal-on-metal contact while optimising energy usage. A detergent additive system reduces carbon deposits and keeps internals clean.
With an oxidation-stable formulation that resists breakdown, this oil is recommended for service intervals of up to 4000 hours on rotary screw and rotary vane compressors.

Rapidly separating from water, this oil reduces friction and machine energy consumption by reliably lubricating all moving parts. The high-strength and slippery film provides added resistance and offers superior protection against metal-on-metal contact. An ionic bond forms on metal surfaces to displace corrosive moisture, protecting the machine during use or shutdown. Detergent additive minimises varnish and carbon deposits to protect components including rotors or bearings.

Natural solvency cleans dirtier equipment and maintains it, and also offers great seal compatibility. Dependable lubrication supports consistent performance for continuous-duty screw compressors.
- RECOMMENDED FOR USE WITH ROTARY SCREW & ROTARY VANE COMPRESSORS: Designed for use with rotary screw and vane compressors, including SIP RS and SIP VSDD ranges. Recommended for drain intervals of up to 4000 hours under suitable operating conditions. Not suitable for mixing with other mineral, semi synthetic or synthetic oils.
